Our story began in the heart of the beautiful Dades Valley, where the three of us—Mohamed, Abdou, and Hamid—were born and raised. Growing up surrounded by the spectacular mountains, and Berber traditions gave us a deep love for our homeland and its people.
Our journey into hospitality started at a young age. Mohamed, the eldest brother, began working in a local hotel as a guide, introducing visitors to the famous Monkey Fingers and the natural beauty of the Dades Valley. Abdou worked tirelessly maintaining the hotel's gardens, while Hamid started in the kitchen, learning every aspect of cooking before becoming a chef.
In 2014, Mohamed moved to Marrakech to complete his studies in French Literature. Although he enjoyed university life, his passion for tourism and hospitality brought him back home three years later.
In 2016, with the support of our father, we opened our first restaurant in Aït Ben Haddou. It was a wonderful experience that taught us the true meaning of hospitality, teamwork, and dedication. We worked long days, saved every dirham we could, and continuously invested in a dream we all shared.
While we managed the restaurant, we sent our earnings to our father in the Dades Valley. Step by step, he purchased the land and began building what would become our family guesthouse. Together, through years of hard work and determination, that dream became reality.
In 2019, Dar Rihana Dades welcomed its first guests.
Today, Mohamed manages the guesthouse, while Abdou and Hamid lead the kitchen, preparing authentic Moroccan cuisine with passion and care. Every member of our family is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Dar Rihana Dades is more than a hotel—it is the result of years of hard work, family unity, and a dream built together.
We look forward to welcoming you as our guest and sharing the beauty, culture, and warm hospitality of the Dades Valley with you.
